How can I turn on or off System Error Reporting?

Based on your server settings, you might get warnings in some pages. You may turn it off by two methods.

Method 1

In this method, Joomla has a setting to change the reporting. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Login to your site backend.
  2. Go to Global Configuration → Server
  3. Under Server Settings, locate Error Reporting
  4. To turn it off, set to None
  5. To show the detailed error, set it to Maximum.

Method 2

Contact your web-host service provider. They will make necessary modification in the php.ini configuration file for your server.
